Gold and Silver in Handicraft 2008

Gold and Silver Handicraft is yet another competition which has become a fixture at Gold Silver Time. Competition entries were submitted in two categories: the Junior Category with the subject Dreams Come True and the Senior Category with Time for Chrysoprase.

In the senior category the winner was Paweł Waś (for The Flower of Silesia – a necklace with chrysoprase), and two joint second prizes went to Wiesław Śliwowski (for his Pendant for a Green-Eyed Lady) and Marek Mikicki (for his Chrysoprase Medallion necklace). The senior category also saw two honourable mentions for Krzysztof Gubała and Waldemar Sawa.

In the junior category, 1st prize went to Michał Hinz of Wejherowo (for his Together Forever pendant); the other winners were Maciej Wysoczyński of Gdynia (for his Wild Pendant) and Iwona Górecka of Sopot (for her Magic Slipper pendant). There were also two honourable mentions in this category: for Marek Polgert of Gdynia (for his Dream Flight) and Dawid Krzysteczko of Świętochłowice (for a piece called Ipod Shuffle – My Own Skin).
