Louis Erard debuted last year in Poland, and previously round the world, as a restoration of the historical manufacturing workshop. Six collections: 1931, Héritage, La Sportive, La Carrée, Les Asymétriques, Montres de Poche, are in line with the brand’s new principle – give the customers what they want. In harmony with the brand’s new strategy, all its timepieces are equipped with manual- or self-wind movements – this is exactly what Louis Erard’s L'Esprit du Temps (The Spirit of Time) is like.

The summer season brought the debut of the fashion world’s largest watches by U-Boat. Created by Italian designer Italo Fontana and French fashion king Mounir Moufarrige, they break the fundamental canons of both the size and appearance of a watch. U-Boat timepieces are the largest wristwatches in the world, with the dial diameter of 55 mm. They break the old principles of watchmaking, which for 150 years prescribed that the face diameter should not exceed 53 mm. The watch’s greatest strength lies in simple but unique design with no extravagant shapes or colours.
