In April 2008, in the centre of Barcelona, in the maze of streets and alleys of the Jewish Quarter there is the Amber Art Gallery, set up by two young artists from Gdańsk: Diana Niewiadomska and Łukasz Masewicz.

In their gallery, they promote young artists from Poland and also design jewellery themselves. They passed their amber bug to Sylvia Walz, from the famous Escola Massana college, who is also the head of the Tallers Perill artistic group associating jewellery artists. With Sylvia’s help they organised an extraordinary exhibition where 17 artists from Tallers Perill took up the challenge of a material which was new to them: amber brought by Łukasz and Diana.
